To our Customers and Community,⁠

As the COVID-19 crisis continues, we have been working through how we can best support, communicate and stay connected to you during this challenging time.

Our greatest priority is the health and safety of all of our team members, you guys who make up our amazing VK6 family and the wider community. We are doing all that we can to provide support during these coming weeks and ensure we are taking appropriate safety and hygiene measures. All our office staff are working from home now. We’ve implemented additional hygiene and distancing measures at our warehouse on the advice of Worksafe and the NSW Department of Health, including split shifts, twice-daily deep cleans, physical distancing, and hand sanitiser EVERYWHERE. 

We will be operating our online store as usual as we adapt to these new office conditions and work to ensure that all VK6 deliveries are sent in a timely and orderly fashion. At the moment we are shipping orders as normal, but will update you if that changes. You can also keep up-to-date with Australia Post’s alerts here


People are losing their jobs; getting sick; losing loved ones. How can we talk about self-care at a time like this? Of course many may feel that self-care routines are not important compared to everything else that’s going on. But in times of major distress, we believe that it's only human nature to want a distraction from non-stop coronavirus stress, right?

We think we all need to give ourselves permission to take a moment each day for self-care, whether that be a youtube marathon or applying a face mask. We’re all going to need those moments to get through the coming months.

 An important PSA on "immune boosting" marketing we've recently come across

We value transparency and trust above all else and so as a message from us, we wanted to inform our community that VK6 supplements are for beauty-boosting and overall health & wellness, but not as a prevention or treatment against COVID-19. ⁠At a time like now, when misinformation is especially rampant and consumer vulnerability is high, the need for accountability is more urgent than ever.⁠ 

Consumer anxiety around health has led to panic buying of various vitamins and supplements that, although well-intentioned, may mislead many to believe that the ‘immune-boosting’ content currently circulating across social media, newsletters, and Instagram has been marketed as “anti-coronavirus” treatments.⁠ These are FALSE and MISLEADING. Please be aware that there is currently no scientific evidence that supplements will mitigate, prevent, treat, or cure COVID-19.⁠ Read our blog post on COVID-19 on THE BREAKDOWN for more information on the virus itself and how to protect yourself, as well as key information centres to look out for.

At times like this it is important that we all stay connected, so in the coming weeks we will share our thoughts and suggestions with you on everything from creating a good work space to making the most of your time at home, while also ensuring we continue to provide you with beauty & wellness inspiration for when you simply need to escape.⁠
